Perched on Nice's celebrated Promenade des Anglais, the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée is a nine-floor Art Deco luxury hotel and casino complex built in 1929 by architects Charles and Marcel Dalmas. Originally designed as a flagship resort, the building underwent significant modernization in 1990, a year after two of its facades were designated as historical monuments in recognition of their architectural significance. Today it houses 187 rooms and twelve suites, operated under Hyatt management by Constellation Hotels Holding, preserving its interwar elegance while serving contemporary hospitality standards.
