The Palazzo is a luxury hotel and casino resort designed by HKS Architects and completed in 2007 on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. This 196-meter, 50-story postmodern tower was developed by Las Vegas Sands as a sister property to the adjacent Venetian resort, with construction beginning in September 2004 and phased opening commencing on December 30, 2007. The $1.9 billion property features an Italian theme and comprises 3,066 suites, a 105,000-square-foot casino, the 875,000-square-foot Grand Canal Shoppes, and an 1,800-seat performance theater. Built as a green building, it earned Silver LEED certification in 2008, making it the largest LEED-certified building in the world at that time. The complex, operated jointly with the Venetian and Venetian Expo, now ranks as the world's third-largest hotel and is currently owned by Vici Properties and Apollo Global Management.
