The Jāmeh Mosque of Semnan, located in Semnan Province, Iran, is a Friday mosque believed to have been constructed in the 11th century CE atop the remains of a Zoroastrian fire temple. The structure has undergone numerous alterations and expansions over centuries, with architectural traces from the Seljuk and Timurid periods being particularly evident. Built in brick and tile with plaster detailing, the mosque reflects stylistic influences spanning from Umayyad through Qajar periods. Both the Seljuk-era mosque and its minaret were designated as Iranian National Heritage properties in 1932.
