The Joseph Cook House, a one-and-a-half-story buff brick residence built in 1906 at 63 West Second South in Paris, Idaho, exemplifies the Queen Anne and Neoclassical styles popular in the early twentieth century. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the property is distinguished by its accompanying historic iron fence, manufactured by Stewart Iron Works of Cincinnati, Ohio. The fence's running sections feature a hoop-and-arrow pattern, while its gateposts culminate in miniature groin vaults and finials, their maker's legend cast into the metal.
