The Kenyatta International Convention Centre is a 32-story brutalist skyscraper completed in 1973 in Nairobi's City Square, designed by Norwegian architect Karl Henrik Nøstvik. Standing 105 meters tall, the building was Nairobi's tallest upon completion and has served as a prominent conference venue and government address, housing Senate offices and other official institutions. Though subsequently surpassed in height by later developments including the Britam Tower, the KICC remains recognized as one of Africa's leading conference facilities and represents a significant example of brutalist architecture in East Africa.
