The Knights of Columbus Building stands as the international headquarters of the Roman Catholic fraternal organization in downtown New Haven, Connecticut. Completed in 1969 by the architectural firm Roche-Dinkeloo, this 23-story brutalist structure rises 320 feet and ranks as the city's third-tallest building. Constructed of reinforced concrete, the tower features a striking geometric form defined by four cylindrical towers at its corners, each symbolizing one of the Order's core principles: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. The building was erected at 1 Columbus Plaza adjacent to the New Haven Coliseum, a companion structure designed by the same firm. As the Supreme Council's seat, the tower serves the administrative and leadership functions for more than 15,000 Knights of Columbus councils worldwide.
