Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire began as a medieval fortress around 1200 before being transformed into an elegant stately palace. The castle holds particular historical significance as the final residence of Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII. From 1615 onward, it served as the ancestral seat of the Earls and Dukes of Manchester until 1950, when it transitioned to its present use as Kimbolton School.
