Kleinhans Music Hall, a concert venue on Symphony Circle in Buffalo, New York, represents a masterwork of International Style design by the renowned architectural team of Eliel and Eero Saarinen, with assistance from local architects F. J. and W. A. Kidd. Completed in 1940, the building was shaped through the collaboration of lighting consultant Stanley McCandless and acoustical adviser Charles C. Potwin. Housing two performance spaces alongside rehearsal and event rooms, Kleinhans has served as the home of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and a regular venue for the Buffalo Chamber Music Society. The building's architectural significance was recognized when it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989, cementing its importance nearly five decades after its completion.
