Leinster House in Dublin is a Georgian and Palladian palace designed by architect Richard Cassels and constructed in 1748 as the ducal residence of the Dukes of Leinster. Since 1922, it has served as the seat of the Oireachtas, Ireland's parliament, housing the legislature and its members and staff within a larger complex of buildings. The original ducal palace remains the architectural centerpiece and public face of the complex.
