The Custom House in Dublin is a neoclassical building completed in 1791, designed by architect James Gandon in the Palladian style. Situated on the north bank of the River Liffey on Custom House Quay between Butt Bridge and Talbot Memorial Bridge, the structure now houses the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. As one of Dublin's major architectural landmarks from the late 18th century, it exemplifies the refined proportions and classical vocabulary characteristic of Palladian design.
