The Convention Centre Dublin, located in the Dublin Docklands and overlooking the River Liffey at Spencer Dock, is a modern architectural landmark designed by Irish-born American architect Kevin Roche. Construction of the centre began in 1998 and was completed in 2010. From June 2020, the building served as a temporary home for Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament, to accommodate social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
