Located at North Wall Quay in Dublin's Docklands, the 3Arena is a modern indoor amphitheatre designed by Populous and opened in 2008 as The O2 before being rebranded in 2014. Built on the site of the former Point Theatre (1988–2007), the venue retains portions of the original facade while serving as one of the world's busiest music arenas by ticket sales. The structure stands where a railway goods handling facility once operated, a history reflected in its predecessor venue's "Point Depot" designation.
