World One is a 280.2-meter, 76-story residential skyscraper in Mumbai designed by the renowned firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. Completed on the redeveloped 7.1-hectare site of the former Shrinivas Mill, it stands as India's second-tallest completed building. The postmodern tower was built at a cost exceeding $321 million, with construction beginning in 2011 after an initial design—pitched at 442 meters—required redesign due to Airport Authority clearance restrictions. The project, developed by the Lodha Group and engineered by Leslie E. Robertson Associates with MEP services by BuroHappold Engineering, forms part of a larger complex that includes two additional towers: World View and World Crest.
