The Moffat Library of Washingtonville, erected in 1887 in Orange County, New York, is a Queen Anne style structure serving the village and surrounding towns of Blooming Grove, Hamptonburgh, and New Windsor. Positioned at the intersection of NY 208 and NY 94 in the center of town, the building is distinguished by two notable stained glass windows: one designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany and one Belcher mosaic window, additions to the original design. The library maintains its original architectural plan and much of its period appearance, earning it listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Following severe flood damage from Moodna Creek during Hurricane Irene in 2011, the building underwent extensive exterior and interior renovation before reopening in 2017.
