Montreal Park in Sevenoaks, Kent, is a Palladian country house and estate development built in 1763 as the residence of Lord Amherst, Commander-in-Chief of the Forces. The property takes its name from Amherst's military conquest of Montreal in 1760, commemorating his role in that significant campaign. The estate originally functioned as an English country house and farm before later being transformed into a housing development.
