Designed by Moshe Safdie, the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein National Campus for the Archaeology of Israel is a museum complex under construction in Jerusalem that will serve as the centralized headquarters of the Israel Antiquities Authority. Located on a 20,000-square-meter site between the Israel Museum and the Bible Lands Museum, the campus consolidates administrative functions and collections currently dispersed across three locations—Har Hotzvim, the Israel Museum, and the Rockefeller Museum. Ground was broken in 2010 with construction beginning in 2012. The Visitor Experience center, as of early 2026, is expected to open to visitors in early 2027.
