The North Tower is a cast-iron and brick lighthouse on Schiermonnikoog, one of the Frisian Islands in the Dutch North Sea, built in 1854 by H.G. Jansen and A. van Rhyn. Standing 37 meters tall, it serves alongside the South Tower to mark the island's coastal position. From its vantage point, the tower has long issued weather reports for surrounding waters. Designated a Rijksmonument, the structure was painted red in 1998 and remains an active aid to navigation.
