Built in 1926 in LaBelle, Florida, the Old Hendry County Courthouse is a two- or three-story Mediterranean Revival and Mission Revival structure designed by architect Edward Columbus Hosford. Located at the corner of Bridge Street and Hickpochee Avenue, the $150,000 building was constructed by the Marshall-Jackson Company of Lakeland and served as Hendry County's courthouse until 1968. The structure exemplifies the architectural ambitions of the 1920s Florida boom, though its construction company would not survive the subsequent economic collapse. The courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
