Opus Hong Kong is a 12-storey residential tower completed in 2012 at 53 Stubbs Road in the Mid-Levels district, designed by Frank Gehry in collaboration with Ronald Lu and Partners. Standing 42.62 metres tall, this postmodern structure marked Gehry's first Asian residential project and was developed by Swire Properties. The building contains 12 luxurious residential units ranging from 560 to 640 square metres, including two duplexes with private pools. The 3,020 square-metre site incorporates underground parking, additional swimming pools, gyms, rainwater recycling systems for irrigation, and electric car charging infrastructure. An eighth-floor apartment spanning the entire 580 square-metre level became Hong Kong's most expensive apartment when sold for HK$470 million in August 2012. The British Consul-General to Hong Kong has maintained residence in the building since 2013.
