Built in 1893 in Nephi, Utah, the Oscar M. Booth House exemplifies Queen Anne style architecture in its vernacular Utah form. Constructed by local carpenter-builder Oscar M. Booth (1868–1944), the residence at 395 E. 100 South features characteristic Queen Anne elements including an octagonal corner tower with conical roof, shingled gables, and a long wrap-around porch arranged in an asymmetrical side-hall plan. While more restrained than the exuberant examples of the style found elsewhere, the house documents the assimilation of Victorian aesthetics into late nineteenth-century Utah domestic architecture. Booth, who likely acquired his design knowledge through pattern-books and hands-on experience rather than formal training, became known throughout the Nephi area and beyond for his Victorian homes, including the Whitmore Mansion. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
