Osinovetsky Light is an active stone lighthouse constructed in 1905 on a headland near the southwest corner of Lake Ladoga in Leningrad Oblast, Russia, marking the west side of the entrance to the southernmost bay and the Neva passage. At 230 feet (70 metres), it ranks as the eighth tallest traditional lighthouse in the world and is a slightly shorter twin of Storozhenskiy Light. The structure gained historical significance during the Siege of Leningrad (1941–1944), serving as a vital landmark along the Road of Life—the supply route that sustained the besieged city. Now a regional cultural heritage site, the lighthouse is designated as an architectural landmark and was long tended by Sergey Shulyatev, who served as lightkeeper from 1987 to 2010, making him Russia's oldest lighthouse keeper at the time.
