The Patrick F. McCarthy House is a Tudor Revival residence built in 1905 in Davenport, Iowa's West End, commissioned by Patrick McCarthy, president of a local street construction and paving company. The three-story house sits prominently on a hilltop above Marquette Street, its first floor clad in dark red face brick while the upper stories display the characteristic half-timbering of the Tudor Revival style. Notable design features include the protruding upper floors that cantilever beyond the story below and a semi-circular bay window. McCarthy and his wife Alice occupied the house into the 1950s, and it was recognized as a historic building in 1984.
