Built in 1891 in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts, the Peabody-Williams House is a 2½-story wood-frame residence designed by architect J. Williams Beal that exemplifies the Shingle style at its finest. The asymmetrical composition features characteristic gabled projections, dormers, and a corner turret that define the period's aesthetic. The house is distinguished by extensive interior carving executed by locally renowned woodcarver Andrew Lees. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, it has been further secured by a Preservation Easement held by Historic New England since 2015.
