Pyramid G1-c is a Fourth Dynasty subsidiary pyramid located in the Giza East Field, immediately east of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Standing 29.62 metres tall with a base width of 46.25 metres, it is the southernmost of three queens' pyramids and is attributed to Queen Henutsen through New Kingdom inscriptions. The structure was built in haste and remained unfinished, distinguishing it from neighboring pyramids by the absence of a boat pit. A shallow niche, four inches deep, was carved into the south wall of its burial chamber. Originally not formally integrated into Khufu's pyramid complex—its southern side aligns with the nearby mastaba of Khufukhaf I rather than with the Great Pyramid—G1-c was once considered a satellite pyramid before its true nature as an unfinished construction was recognized. A small temple incorporating elements of an ancient funerary chapel was later built nearby.
