Pyramid G1-b is a subsidiary pyramid of the Giza East Field, situated immediately east of the Great Pyramid of Giza and constructed during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty. The central of three queens' pyramids, it stands 30 meters tall with a 50-meter base. Located ten meters south of Pyramid G1-a, it forms part of a cluster of royal women's tombs adjacent to the Great Pyramid. Egyptologists Mark Lehner and Rainer Stadelmann attribute the monument to Queen Meritites I, though Zahi Hawass proposes it may belong to an otherwise unknown queen of Khufu who bore Djedefre. The pyramid sits among four subsidiary monuments in its immediate group, including pyramids G1-a, G1-c, and G1-d.
