The Pyramid of Ligourio is an ancient Greek pyramid and fortified tower located in the Epidavros Municipality in Greece. Little is known with certainty about its original purpose or date of construction, though it represents a rare example of pyramid architecture within the ancient Greek building tradition, distinct from better-known Egyptian forms. The structure functioned as both a defensive fortification and a notable architectural monument in its landscape. Today it survives as an archaeological site of significance to the study of ancient Greek military and monumental architecture.
