Qasr ibn Wardan is a 6th-century Byzantine archaeological site in the Syrian Desert, located approximately 60 kilometres northeast of Hama in Syria's Hama Governorate. The ruins, which stand west of a road that separates them from the modern hamlet of the same name, represent a significant example of Byzantine architecture from the early Islamic period. The site remains largely unexcavated and serves as an important witness to the empire's eastern frontier and architectural traditions of the era.
