Located at 730 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Racine, Wisconsin, the Racine County Courthouse is an eleven-story Art Deco landmark built between 1930 and 1931 by the prominent Chicago architectural firm Holabird & Root. Clad in Indiana limestone, the building's distinctive modernist styling dominates the city's skyline and reflects the streamlined aesthetic of the era. Beyond its primary function as the seat of county justice, the courthouse accommodates the County Executive's office on the tenth floor and most county government operations. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 28, 1980, and is also listed in the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places.
