The Randall Fawcett House is a Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Usonian home in Los Banos, California, completed in 1961 after being designed in 1955. Built for rancher Randall "Buck" Fawcett and his wife Harriet—who met Wright while taking an architecture course at Stanford University—the house sits on 80 acres of farmland in California's Central Valley, one of only three Usonian residences in the region. Constructed of battered concrete block, the home features an angular "H" or "K" plan with wings at 60- or 120-degree angles, its broad copper fascia and horizontal roof line echoing the flat agricultural landscape. A 12-foot-wide hearth anchors the left side of the entrance, while interior spaces include five bedrooms, four and a half baths, open-plan living and dining areas, a kitchen formalized by ornamental screens, and utility rooms. The grounds incorporate a Koi pond and swimming pool, with a shallow circular flower planter set atop a wall near the entrance.
