The Red Lodge Communal Mausoleum, located in the Red Lodge City Cemetery in Carbon County, Montana, is a 232-crypt community mausoleum built in 1922 by the Consolidated Mausoleums Company of Billings. Designed in the Prairie School architectural style, it features a modified cruciform plan with a chapel and exhibits characteristic elements of the style, including a tall central mass flanked by lower subordinate wings, rough textured stucco exterior walls, and horizontal rows of windows. Situated within the cemetery's 4.9-acre Catholic section, it is the largest structure on the grounds. As one of only three community mausoleums known to have been built in Montana during the early twentieth century, the Red Lodge facility is significant for its well-preserved condition and architectural integrity, representing a rare surviving example of both the community mausoleum typology and American Prairie School architecture in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
