Located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, the Reebie Storage Warehouse stands at 2325 North Clark Street as a striking example of Egyptian Revival architecture. Built in 1922 for the Reebie Storage and Moving Company, the warehouse was designed by architect George Kingsley and sculptor Fritz Albert, who created the building's elaborate terra cotta exterior ornamentation. Two monumental statues of Ramses II flank the main entrance, representing the company's founders John and William Reebie. The distinctive Egyptian style was a deliberate choice by the Reebie brothers, inspired by John Reebie's visit to Egypt and by another Egyptian Revival storage facility he had seen in Stockton, California. The building was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and designated a Chicago Landmark in 1999.
