Blok met 8 keukenwoningen, zo genoemd vanwege destijds nieuwe plaatsing van keuken aan de voorzijde, aan de zijkant een houten topgevel, bouwstijl Amsterdamse School.
A residential block on Avenhornstraat in Amsterdam, this Rijksmonument exemplifies the Amsterdam School architectural style. The building is notable for its innovative kitchen-forward design—a striking feature for its era, when kitchens were relocated to the front of the dwellings, a then-modern arrangement. A wooden gable adorns one side of the structure. The complex originally housed eight kitchen-equipped units (hence its name, "Block with 8 Kitchen Dwellings"), representing progressive thinking in domestic planning and architectural expression characteristic of the Amsterdam School movement.
