The Reynolds Building is a 314-foot Art Deco skyscraper completed in 1929 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, designed by the architectural firm Shreve, Lamb & Harmon. Rising 21 stories with approximately 314,000 square feet of space, it originally served as headquarters for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. After its 2014 sale to PMC Property Group, the building underwent approximately $60 million in comprehensive renovations, transforming it into a mixed-use complex. The project introduced The Residences @ the R.J. Reynolds Building—apartments occupying the top eleven floors—which opened in March 2016, followed by the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel on the first six floors in April and Katharine Brasserie & Bar in May. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
