The S. J. Nissen Building, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a three-story Romanesque Revival brick factory constructed in 1893 with basement and sub-basement levels. Originally built as a wagon-making and carriage repair shop, the structure showcases distinctive architectural features including two crenellated towers—one square and one octagonal—and round-arched windows characteristic of the style. A two-story addition with basement was added in 1953 as the building's use evolved through various industrial occupants, including machinery manufacturing operations. Now situated within the Winston-Salem Tobacco Historic District, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
