Samara, also known as the John E. Christian House, is a modern residence in West Lafayette, Indiana, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built between 1955 and 1956. The house exemplifies Wright's Usonian home philosophy, a vision for affordable, organically integrated domestic architecture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Samara remained the home of its original owner, John E. Christian, until his death in 2015. The dwelling stands as a significant example of Wright's later residential work and his influential approach to democratic, human-scaled design.
