The Schlossbrücke is a three-arched stone bridge in Berlin's Mitte district, designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and completed in 1824. It spans the eastern terminus of the Unter den Linden boulevard and takes its name from the nearby Stadtschloss (City Palace). The bridge is distinguished by monumental sculptural figures—warriors and goddesses of victory—commissioned to commemorate the Wars of Liberation, echoing artistic precedents at the Neue Wache. Severely damaged during the Second World War, the bridge was restored and its sculptural programme reinstalled between 1983 and 1984. Today it stands as both an architectural and cultural heritage monument.
