Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium is a baseball venue in Norwich, Connecticut, designed by Populous and completed in 1995. With a seating capacity of 6,270, it has served as home to minor league teams including the Connecticut Defenders (formerly the Norwich Navigators), who played there until their 2009 relocation to Richmond. Since 2010, the stadium has been the home of the Norwich Sea Unicorns, previously known as the Connecticut Tigers. The facility is named after Thomas Dodd, an Eastern Connecticut native who served as both a U.S. Senator and Representative from Connecticut and was the father of Senator Christopher Dodd.
