The Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, completed in 1925 in Los Angeles, is a Moorish Revival theatre and event venue designed by architect G. Albert Lansburgh. Serving as the headquarters of the Al Malaikah Temple, a Shriners division, the building functions as a major venue for large-scale events, performances, and exhibitions. Its ornate architectural style reflects the Moorish Revival aesthetic popular in early twentieth-century American institutional design. The venue earned recognition as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1975 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, cementing its status as a significant cultural landmark.
