The Somersville Historic District in western Somers, Connecticut, preserves the built heritage of a mill village centered on a complex along the Scantic River. Though the area has roots dating to the 1760s, the district's primary development occurred between 1835 and 1935, when Greek Revival architecture characterized much of its construction. The mill itself, which once anchored the village economy, burned down and has since become open field, though the canal structure remains visible. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
