Sonics Arena was a proposed multi-purpose venue designed by HOK for Seattle's SoDo neighborhood that would have accommodated approximately 19,000 to 20,000 seats for basketball, ice hockey, and concerts. Conceived as part of a broader initiative to bring the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics back to the city and potentially attract an NHL franchise, the project was ultimately rejected in favor of redeveloping the existing KeyArena into Climate Pledge Arena.
