The Spring House Gazebo stands in Eden Park, Cincinnati, Ohio, as the oldest surviving structure in the city's municipal park system. Designed by architect Cornelius M. Foster and completed in 1904, this Moorish Revival building features brightly painted arches and ball finials characteristic of the style. Named after the historic spring house it replaced—which once drew locals seeking the spring water's reputed therapeutic properties before contamination led to its sealing in 1912—the gazebo occupies a prominent location near Mirror Lake, a large reflecting pool with a surrounding walkway. The structure has achieved iconic status, appearing in the logo of the Cincinnati Park Board. From its position on the hilltop park, visitors can view the seasonal fountain in Mirror Lake, which shoots water sixty feet into the air.
