Built in 1893 for physician and politician John Hazard Henry, the Stay House stands as a two-story brick Victorian residence in Montgomery, Alabama. The design blends Victorian architecture with Eastlakian trim detailing, featuring a distinctive three-bay façade anchored by a gabled bay and a central square tower, both adorned with horseshoe-shaped ventilators. A flat-roofed porch shelters the left bays, while the arched front entrance is distinguished by alternating stone voussoirs and a four-segment fanlight. The interior follows a center-hall plan with a one-story rear kitchen wing and enclosed porch. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
