Stenhammar is a palace and mansion built in 1658, located outside Flen in Södermanland County, Sweden, approximately 120 kilometers southwest of Stockholm. Situated adjacent to the Western Main Line railway, the estate has been state-owned since 1903, when landowner and courtier Robert von Kræmer donated it with the stipulation that it be leased to a member of the Swedish royal house—preferably a Duke of Södermanland. King Carl XVI Gustaf has held the lease since 1966, though Stenhammar is not formally designated a crown palace. The property gained international attention in August 2023 when King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky there during his visit to Sweden to discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
