Venngarn Castle is a Baroque château located north of Sigtuna in Uppland, Sweden, designed by the renowned architect Jean de la Vallée and built in 1670. As a non-fortified edifice, it exemplifies the shift in Swedish aristocratic architecture toward palatial comfort rather than military defense during the seventeenth century.
