Svinøy Lighthouse is a fully automated beacon built in 1905 on the remote island of Svinøy, situated 6 kilometres off the Stad peninsula on Norway's western coast within Herøy Municipality, Møre og Romsdal county. Standing 11 metres tall, the lighthouse marks navigation through waters off an exposed island that rises 35 metres above sea and endures severe climatic conditions throughout the year. The island itself, measuring roughly 300 metres east to west and 900 metres north to south, lies within sight of the mainland and relatively distant from surrounding islands, including Skorpa, which lies about 11 kilometres to the east.
