Teatro San Samuele was an opera house and theatre in Venice, located at the Rio del Duca between Campo San Samuele and Campo Santo Stefano. Built by the prominent Grimani family, it opened in 1656 and operated until destroyed by fire in 1747. A replacement structure was constructed and reopened in 1748, though financial difficulties led to its closure and sale in 1770. The theatre resumed operations in 1815 following its shutdown under Napoleonic decree, and was acquired by impresario Giuseppe Camploy in 1819, subsequently renamed Teatro Camploy in 1853. Upon Camploy's death in 1889, the theatre passed to the City of Verona, but was purchased by the Venice City Council and demolished in 1894.
