The Telfair County Courthouse in McRae-Helena, Georgia, was completed in 1934 in Colonial Revival style, designed by the architectural firm Dennis & Dennis. Built in the aftermath of a fire that destroyed its predecessor earlier that year, the courthouse ingeniously incorporated the surviving walls of the original structure. Adjacent to the courthouse stands the Telfair County Jail, constructed in 1902. Both buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
