The Lawn is a historic home and national historic district located near Nokesville in Prince William County, Virginia. The main house, built in 1926, replaced an earlier Gothic Revival dwelling destroyed by fire in 1921. The replacement is a two-story Tudor Revival structure, rendered in stucco with characteristic half-timber framing and a complex cross gable roof. A brick kitchen wing from the original house survives and remains attached to the dwelling. The district also encompasses several ancillary buildings—a board-and-batten schoolhouse, barn, smokehouse, overseer's cottage, privy, stone dairy, and stone root cellar—that document the property's historical complexity. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, The Lawn stands as a Virginia Historic Landmark.
