Thiruchsemponsey, or Perarulaalan Perumal Temple, is a Dravidian-style Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located in Thirunangur, a village near Sirkazhi in Tamil Nadu. One of the 108 Divya Desams—the most sacred Vishnu temples in South India—it was celebrated in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, the early medieval Tamil devotional canon compiled by the Alvar saints between the 6th and 9th centuries. Vishnu is worshipped here as Peralulalan, with his consort Lakshmi as Allimalar Nachiyar. The temple maintains traditional daily rituals and is closely associated with the Alvar saint Thirumangai. Its major annual festival, Thirumangai Alvar Mangalasasana Utsavam, celebrated during the Tamil month of Thai, draws festival images of all eleven Thirunangur temples mounted on a Garuda Vahana—a ceremonial structure designed in the form of the divine bird Garuda.
