Thirumanimadam, a Dravidian temple dedicated to Vishnu in Thirunangur near Sirkazhi, Tamil Nadu, ranks among the 108 Divya Desams—the most sacred Vishnu temples in Hindu tradition. Also known as Narayanan Perumal or Badrinarayana Perumal Temple, it enshrines Vishnu with his consort Lakshmi as Pundarikavalli. The temple's spiritual significance was established in the early medieval period, when Alvar saints of the 6th–9th centuries CE celebrated it in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, the foundational Tamil canon of devotional literature. Closely associated with the revered Thirumangai Alvar, the temple is one of eleven Divya Desams in Thirunangur. Its principal festival, the Thirumangai Alvar Mangalasasana Utsavam, held annually during the Tamil month of Thai, brings together the festival deities of all eleven Thirunangur temples mounted on a Garuda Vahana—an ornate structure fashioned like the divine eagle vehicle.
